I put a good amount of my income into IRA and 401k first, but the rest goes to guns and ammo

That's basically my strategy too, especially about the cash part. I use my credit card only for the convienence, not as a source of income. It gets paid off each month to avoid the interest.

Most of my paycheck goes to 401K, a huge chunk into savings, the rest is budgeted for living expenses, then whatever's left over is spending money. It's amazing how much money you can save each month if you just stop buying other stuff.

    1) No car payment (+$300-$500)
    2) No cable TV bill (+$50-$100)
    3) No cell phone bill (+$50-$100)
    4) Only eat out occasionally, No starbucks/lunches (+$200-$300)
    5) Only watch movies once a month instead of every weekend (+$80)
    6) Pay off CC bill each month (+$50 in interest saved)
    6) I have a girlfriend (-$500 month)

Just cut out some extraneous expenses and you can easily save enough money to buy a gun. Although I'm still saving for a house so the firearms purchases are the first things to get cut. Oh yeah, and only buy stuff that's on sale or secondhand, you can save a crapload

One thing I learned to do was review my expenses each month (which is why I use CC to purchase most things, it's easier to keep track on the bill). Keep track of EVERYTHING you spend money on for a month or two, then go over it and see where your money goes. I'm betting you can easily save a few bucks.

Or if you're still young, study hard, get into a good school, graduate, get a good paying job, and have as much money as you want. That's the easiest way.

Work two jobs (7 days a week) - leaves little time to spend your money on anything else but guns.
I'm only smiling at you while you talk to me because it's hilarious that you really think I give a crap about you.

As I've gotten older I thought I was gaining patience, then I realized I simply don't give a crap.

As a colllege student, I've found the only way I can get some of the nicer toys that I like is to find screaming deals on them and put them togeather one bit at a time.

Often you can get very good pricing on stuff if you buy it in bulk and sell off the stuff you don't need.

Although that can backfire on you if you wind up with too much funds tied up in misc parts. (anyone need colt M4 buttstocks... i've got like 20 of them)

          1. No wife & no kids
          2. Stop spending $$$, on stuff you don't need.
          3. Stay away from using your CC...Debt will kill you
          4. Helps to have a girlfriend who has two jobs, and buys her own stuff that she wants. Which means more money for me to spend on my toys

My gf will always ask me how many guns I have, specially when i come home w/ a new one, and i just tell her "no baby, that's one of my old ones that i just went to go get fixed"

You can do what I do, collect cans, and plastic bottles. It's slow but the money is FREE!!!
