    concealed carry

Now that I am retired, concealed carry will be with less hassles as there are no longer work restrictions (government office). As a non-employee, IIRC the exemption is PC 171 (b).

Today since I was no longer employed, I conceal carried to my old workplace. Went past four security staff and talked with several former co-workers with none of them aware of the Kimber in an IWB holster at the 6 o'clock (MOB) position. I also use the same IWB holster on the weak side ('cross' draw) with grip facing forward.

I really like the 5.11 Tactical and Woolrich Elite Series tactical concealment shirts. They are cut wide and have a straight bottom. Both carry methods seem to conceal the gun well.

Your security staff need more training lol. It seems to me former employees should be more scrutinized than that eh? As a side note congrats on the retirement and what Model Kimber ? Pics please?

Yeah they do need to scrutinize better. After 13 years of walking in that building with an ID, I now have to check in and get a visitor pass and be escorted by a former co-worker to where I need to go.

Kimber Carry Elite .45ACP. This was a custom shop model from 1998. Google Kimber Carry Elite 1998. This is not the same as the Elite Carry.
