A brand-new feature at AmmoGuide - first notice! (only to calguns.net readers) We think many will enjoy this. (Actually, we're so excited about it, that we can't wait for our end-of-month AMMOGUIDE NEWS e-newsletter, and just had to tell someone!)
We've just finished adding "primer size" to as many of the cartridges in the database as possible. (There are currently 447.)
And since AmmoGuide has "learned" about the primer size for each round, the Real-Time Cartridge-Drawing Engine can now "simulate" the bottom of the cartridge, just as it has always produced brass and case-diagram renderings from the other dimensions. Bottoms up!
Here's the draft of the graphic we're going to use in the e-newsletter - hope you like it AND the site:
There are a very few cartridges that won't show their "bottom" yet. It's not that they're shy - we just don't know the primer size yet. We'll add those as our research provides the answers.
