    1919 build info

At the area 52 shoot a few questions came up about building a semi-auto 1919. Here are some links that might be helpful to anyone deciding to build a 1919.

A list of what is needed to build a 1919.

1919A4 parts kit machined for semi plate
    Right hand side plate
semi trigger assembly and sear (Karma metal products)
    trigger retrun spring
    Rivet kit

A very good reference site is http://www.1919a4.com/modules/Jig/index.php

1919a4 tutorial site. If you are using firefox you might have to change the links from *.asp to *.php IE should work fine.

Couple group buys, not sure if they are still open but if they are these are good prices.

Looks like this one has everything needed but the rivets and machining. If you do order this kit ask if you need 60 or 90 degree rivets.

I have an reenacting event this weekend where I need my 1919a4, but when I was doing a demo this week a school kid made off with my extractor/ejector assembly. No one seems to have any in stock, gunparts has a swedish made one, will this work in my 1919a4? it is an izzy, running 308. If...

    And another one.

Well, the weekend is finally approaching for me to finally test out my first build, and the ONLY thing I have left to do is open up my .308 booster so I can shoot 8mm. Now I searched old posts and found that it should be anywhere from .680 (from one post) to .716 (from another post). Thats all...

This guy has machined a bunch of 1919 internals including mine.

Howdy Am looking for the barrel mounted carry handle for a M1919A4. Anybody got one for sale? Billy

As Blue pointed out below Gunthings is a good source for rivets and trigger parts.

You can buy the 7.62x51 links and other 1919 parts at Cole distributing or search 1919a4.com for them.

Good source for a linker http://hometown.aol.com/laminatrap/m...age/index.html

I prefer to stand when shooting so use a MG 42 AA tripod.

To mount the 1919 on the AA tripod I would recommend checking out 1919_4_me's website.

I use the AA Tripod Adapter & T&E PT# 1001 but I might have to upgrade to his gen II system either way I'm very happy with his setup.

I ordered most of my stuff through here:

    FNFAL,FN FAL,FN-FAL,L1A1,Assault Rifle,FN,AR-15,AK47, AKM, Browning 1919, Colt1911, Browning high power, Uzi, Suomi,PPSH41,PPS3,Sten,Colt AR-15,AR15

Although looking now they don't have much 1919 stuff. I've also got the countersink bit for the rivits they sell, but don't remember if it's a 60 or 90* set if anyone wants to borrow it. Allied Armament did my machine work. My 1919 wouldn't be complete if Sned didn't babystep me through it
Lord, make my hand fast and accurate.
Let my aim be true and my hand faster
than those who would seek to destroy me.
Grant me victory over my foes and those who wish to do harm to me and mine.
Let not my last thought be 'If I only had my gun."
And Lord, if today is truly the day you call me home, let me die in an empty pile of brass.
