Didn't AR15barrels.com (Randell) do the same thing a few years ago? He got through it by fan base and time, Spikes Tactical did the same thing and once again got by on a large fan base and time. Ar15sales is now starting to pop up on forums as is OpticsPlanet. I see AA shirting by the same way all the others did.

I am sorry some of you will loose money, but this is common in our industry. I will never buy an item not posted as in stock and the first sign of trouble will demand my money back stating it was shown as in stock, which will also allow me to pull the credit card money back stating it was fraud.

I could post LPKs for $50, take $10,000 in customer cash and tell them to wait X number of weeks for delivery due to back order, then give them another wait time time and time again and nothing could be done as long as my original offer stated, "delivery times will vary based on back orders".

Thats exactly the point if im reading you right. Some people did order when they were in stock. Also, the company came back on here advertising more products "in stock" while people were complaining about current orders.

            No.
I never did a group buy that went bad.

I got overloaded with custom barrel orders around 2005 and 2006 in the middle of moving my shop and had a hard drive crash with all my business records on it.
I ended up refunding the orders I could not complete in a timely manner and then supplying the barrels to the people that were willing to wait.

Hey pitbull30, let me make sure I understand you correctly...

You're saying it's the customer's fault that this has happened? That it's the customer's fault that they've been promised and promised and promised again, and still no product. That it's the customer's fault that they were "patient and willing to wait" according to the website, and still nothing. That it's the customer's fault that orders placed after theirs are being fulfilled and unless they scream and yell and act like a maniac, they still have nothing. That it's the customer's fault that numerous phone calls and emails and any other form of correspondence goes unanswered. That it's the customer's fault that these clowns are a bunch of thieving bastards.....

                  Uh, yeah.

Sorry brother, but you and I have a very different picture of how to run a business. Let alone, be a "customer".

No buddy. Im with you here. Read my posts on the main "Suck" thread in centerfire. I had to get my money back by disputing the charge to my mastercard. They didnt answer PM's here either. I was willing to wait, but what pissed me off was they came back on here advertising "in stock" stuff when hey had tons of people asking where the other products and orders were. That's why I started with "If I'm reading you right" to the other poster CWDRACO. I wasnt sure if he was trying to justify the reasoning behind their behaviour or what?

This is the part I was mainly commenting on from CWDRACO

My main point to him was people did order when things were in stock and regardless if they were "out of stock" you dont go charging everyone for the stuff.

I feel bad for the guy here who mentioned he bought 30k worth of stuff and no order.

Let me get on a computer instead of my phone and read what the previous guy said again and what I was getting at.
What you wrote was clear enough, I think Dave-K may have misread your post.

Did they hassle you about the return or was it simple, might be taking that route real soon?

My credit card sent me a form asking to explain the situation. If the merchandise was received? Or misrepresented? They refunded my interest charge right away then said the charge would go back to my card within 60 days or less.

Thanks for the info, I think I will give them another week and file a dispute.

It's funny right up to that point that you realize you have no backups and just lost all your accounting records for the last 3 years...

It happens, bought a external hard drive the next day and now back up every week. Every week because that's what I calculated is acceptably amount of info I could recover from. Now a days there is software that will do it daily.
