How will a pre 2014 currently owned Garand fit into the pending legislation, will they need to be registered as an assult weapon?

dont give them any ideas. it isnt passed yet. read the legislation from the librarian and the answer will be clear -
sold my M1A, i will not own a gun that is considered a assault rifle in CA. made a profit. when this bill passes i would not take it to the range . nobody to stop this bill in CA. the last election made sure of that.Comment

Say what you like but I did the same. Sold off three AR15s a 10\22 and an m1a. I have completely given up hope and will be leaving this state within two years.

Okay... so let me get this straight. You're fed up with how the laws are changing, so you sold all the firearms that would be considered "assault weapons," and your fun vehicles. Then because you're fed up with the laws, you're also moving out of state... most likely to a state that allows all that stuff...
