    Galil .308

So I came across an original Galil .308 unfired with original box, case and 4 mags at a gun show this weekend from a private seller. I know the originals in 5.56 fetch around $3500 but I'm not sure about the .308's. I thought that they were a lot harder to come by thus more expensive. Anyone have an idea on value and how many .308's were imported back in the day? This is outside California so no worry on RAW status.

    Depending on condition...
IMI (Action Arms) Galil ARM in 7.62x51mmm go from $3000-$7500.

browse a little on subguns.com and see what you can find.

      CDNN may still have mags.

Thanks guys. I appreciate the info. This thing was immaculate, still in the box. I walked but got the guys number so we'll see. Thanks again.

I could have picked up a clean one up for $2500 about a year ago.

IMI Galil is banned by name in California. There are a few OLL's and versions you can still get though

People seem to ask from 3k to the sky regularly. A friend of mine has one and it sure is sweet.

This one was pristine and was the first one Ive seen in .308. I don't know how someone could have something so sweet for 25 years and never shoot it!
