    Walmart crackdown?

I went to Simi Valley walmart today for a basketball net for the kids and saw 5 guys in line buying ammo at 11am.
Definitely out of the ordinary, so I walk over to the glass shelves and they are %50 full! 6 ea of 250 umc 9mm & 40, Dozens of 22 LR from different mnfgs, 223 bulk, 7.62, etc etc..

I bought some 22 & .45. I asked the clerk what happened. He said there's been an internal investigation by walmart over allegations of employees buying up the ammo and reselling on CL. He said they busted quite a few people and this is the result.
This is second hand info and that should be taken into account, but I haven't seen shelves that well stocked since November.

Where at. Why don't some of you post at least the county. Most of you won't post your location. Annoying how many people hiding their location.

I don't see why Walmart doesn't just raise their prices to match the market and make availability less of an issue.

That is what I figured. There is no way that a WalMart has bare shelves day in and day out without some employee intervention.

Might explains some of the consistent shortages even with shipments coming in every day. Insider intervention. The Hotwheels have a similar problem at some stores.

I would like to know if this is just an in store investigation. Or something larger.
Seems like the same shortage at every Wally. Just figured that's the way it is, upper management don't care about us.

A video where a Florida Walmart employee offers to text ammo info for a few dollars a text.

You may not like guns, and choose not to own one. That is your right. You might not believe in God. That is your choice. However, if someone breaks into your home, the first two things you're going to do are, 1) Call someone with a gun, 2) Pray they get there in time.

                    Every Walmart?
I'd like to see them circumvent the Craigslist Guys by placing the ammo on the shelf at different times of the day without warning.

Every time I go into my local Walmart the ammo cabinet is bare except for .270 at $45/20. I am beginning to think nothing makes it onto the shelves.

Yeap. At my walmart the person at sporting goods texts me to let me know what ammo is in...and then i go pick it up!

The walmart in San jacinto new policy is to only stock the ammo shelves at 9am everyday. The shipment for ammo supposedly does not get opened until this time. Once the shelves are stocked they allow sales of the ammo but at 3 box per person/family a day.
A clerk I know says its crazy every day. Long lines and pissed off consumers. Says there are people waiting 3+ hours before the stocking time.

Got to respect Wally world for at least doing something about that B.S... Same story with ammo distributors too my man, they all lying they are not having shipment in and not even filling dealers back order from last year. Most distributors mama, cousins, workers and what have you are now slinging ammo "of course at ridiculous prices"on Gunbroker and other sites.
Yeap $760 for a 1000 rounds of .45 acp FMJ ... Shyttttt even them cartel boys must be wondering if they are in the right biznessss.
