Not getting caught dead comes to mind.

While that is a "stretch" I wouldn't doubt that some prosecutor would try and call it an open mag well that accepts detachable mags.

And if you're running a featureless (aka MM grip) build, they'd call it a forward pistol grip.

The third strike is that it's just plain silly. Haha.

nothing quite like adding a bunch of weight and a too-large-to-use-comfortably vertical grip to the front of your carbine...

A loaded 30rd mag is heavy especially if you carry it around.

Plus it's ugly to about 99% of us and useless to about 99.9% of us

I'd rather carry it in my pocket, buttstock carrier, leg holster, or chest rig. Anything but that!

anybody have a link to where to buy

it would look really cool with a beta drum mag

I'd get two and put them on the sides of the quad rail I don't own so that my AR has wings.

If they made it for 308, I'd totally have one of these on the railed portion of my PRS stock. That would be so hawt..... +1 on the wings idea too. That would also be absolute hawtness.

Watch someone get busted for that as a 'detachable magazine' on a pistol grip OLL.

I have one on my tacticool gun

They are kindof gay with the 30 round mags, but work well as an emergency 20 round backup holder

I meant to ask you at the AREA 52 shoot how that thang felt. Is it sturdy?
