what kind of muzzle device?

Someone please remind me because I'm too lazy to search; what type of muzzle device can I use for my nearly completed AR build with a 16" barrel? I don't need a pinned muzzle brake, right? I can install a removable flash hider, right?

I think your good to go with a flash hider as long as it has a bullet button. If you go featureless and no pistol grip or bullet button, the stock has to be fixed and no flash hider. A brake is OK. Some brakes are also flash hiders. There is a list floating around the net of brakes and flash hiders and it lists which are likely safe for a featureless build.
