if i have my gun cabinet in my bedroom closet the % is around 40-50 %. the trouble is i like to take my rifles to the garage and tinker with them all the time. my garage is a attached garage under my town home. so i have no exposed walls seeing outside environment the temp in my garage is never under 50 or over 80. i keep a dehumidifier pack, 2 socks with rice, 2 socks with silica cat liter in their also. but with my gun cabinet in the garage the % is now 50-60 %. i just ordered a stack em dehumidifier and hope this brings down the %. i do not have the cabinet on the cement floor. i built up a wooden base about 4 inches off the floor.
