It's a high cap mag. X-rail will not ship to CA and other states, NY & soon CO being the latest additions according to thier FAQ. Also it would prob be heavy as hell....

Initially, I think that "revolving cylinder" bit was designed to deal with the Street Sweeper and clones:

But It ended up outlawing the Taurus Judge and other similar handgus as they accept .410 shells, making is a "shotgun":

I thought the judge was illegal because its chambered in a shotgun round and its handgun sized, making it a "short barreled shotgun", but i guess the revolving cylinder also catches it.

1G - i don't see anything in the flowchart about high cap magazines, just detachable, which i dont think tube extensions count as. ?

Large capacity magazines are covered under a separate section of the penal code, and not directly tied to being an AW. So they're not in the flow chart, since the flow chart is for AWs.

But yes, the revolving cylinder was referring to a cylinder like a revolver, which the street sweeper has, as well as all of those .410 handguns that don't have rifling.

The Juuge - There's the CA legal version with the perm attached stock and the 16" barrel making it over 30".. just not for me. I'd rather have the real thing.

As far as the X-rail... old searches on this site shows it's a no-go here but a loophole or whatever? I'm not trained to read all those lawyer-speak papers... tube-fed vs lever vs this thing...

This is what I came up with..

Yup, which is pretty stupid since ATF declared them Destructive Devices anyway.

The XRail is specifically for 3 Gun Open Division, that's all.
