Anybody have any pictures of the manhole with the holes in it from the .50 DTC?
My wastewater guys don't believe that anybody shot through it...

Some of those dry lake beds out on the playa only look dry. Gotta wait until midsummer until the mud on top gets all cracked and peely, then it oughtta be safe. A few months ago, that bed was a two inch deep "lake" from the snowmelt.

Rats, wish I coulda come. I intended to, but my wife made me buy her a new house last weekend. We had been waiting to hear when the homebuilder was going to auction the last few remaining lots and found out two weeks ago that it would be the same weekend as the CalGuns shoot.

Ah well, see you next year I hope.

I honestly don't see how if we did not break the law in any way shape or form.
We actually enforced the law by not allowing that drunk person that stumbled into the camp to shoot his pistol and informing him that he had to leave.

That was a lot of fun, although being seriously unprepared for the trip made it very physically uncomfortable at times. Lesson learned: you need more than just guns and ammo for a trip like this. Extra padding for sleeping on, decent food, and some silverware are musts. A generator and a fan wouldn't have hurt either. I know, I'd drop dead in an instant if stuck in the wilderness. Also wish I had brought a camara.

I'm real happy with the Tantal wz.88 that I built right before this trip. Put 800+ rounds through it this weekend without a single malfunction. I also enjoyed being able to shoot various handguns since I'm not yet 21.

The full autos were awesome, but next time I think Dedeye should be banned from shooting them. Talk about whoring the ammo.
