Smokin Barrel

While I like all the gun stores in Simi, my experience with the boys at Smokin Barrel was very positive! Friendly, patient, knowledgable and a fun. I brought my 85 year uncle in the other day who happens to be an excellent shot and the folks at Smokin Barrel made him feel welcomed and were very polite. I did a PPT there and the buyer needed an HSC, they were more than happy to administer test and were cool about the whole transaction. They seem to get that PPTs bring new potential customers for their store...it did I my case. After doing the PPT I came back and made a major purchase and going back to make another this week!

Smokin' Barrel = very high prices in my experience.

High prices in my experience too. They also would not issue me an HSC card because I wasn't buying a firearm from them.

Smokin' has a great inventory and nice builds but yes their pricing is high.

Some guns you could get for hundreds less at Turners!

Even on bore brushes they charge .50 cents more than Greta's down the street.
