Youngest age you shot without adults

What is the youngest age you were allowed to shoot guns without parents or adults present ?

I'm sure most of you younger guys here in California grew up in a different world, but I grew up southern Idaho in the late 70's and guns were very common.

My dad let me take out my .22 and 20 gauge to shoot alone when I was 11 or 12. I used to walk about 1/4 miles and had open hills to shoot as long as I wanted.

I was somewhere around 18, born and raised here in so Cal... In hindsight I was clueless to the fact that a legal shooting age existed, sure as heck wasn't aware of BLM land... Just went into the hills lol

15, took my AK into the forest away from camp and shot some cans. Coyote hunted alone as well with an AR-15, also at the age 15.

21 years old IIRC. (Yeah, I got into shooting and firearms a little late.)
