Got a parts kit, need help putting it together

Hello Calguns,

Perhaps I'm blind to the location of where the build parties are at. If so, mods please point me in the right direction.

I recently got an AK 74 parts kit, flat, rivet set, and center support and want to put it together. Does anyone know any Sacramento AK builders out there who would be willing to show an educated noob (but a noob nonetheless) how to do it? I know there was member "Backstrap" but it looks like he's been banned for some reason.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you so much in advance.

yes, it is pretty easy to do if you have the correct tools, but unless the OP wants to spend $$$ on tools, watching youtube video isn't going to be of much help.
