The after expenses. After you buy it you'll need to buy ammo, optics of some kind and other random goodies. Then you'll either love it or wonder what all the hubbub was about. I can't say i absolutely love mine. My AK on the other hand is another story...

You're buying an over priced over grown 22.

You'll want to upgrade everything on it and try out different optics. After that, you'll want another KISS rifle again just because.

Countless hours/days/weeks/months doing research on the rifle and all the stuff your gonna put on it, then the testing and more research on what gear you want to replace it with...then seeing someone else with a slightly better rifle and you get jealous/envious, that comes with more research.
                          So: time and money...

Yup. Accessories. You'll want to try everything that's available and soon one AR will become two and keep multiplying exponentially. If you're worried about ammo cost, might I suggest getting a 5.45 upper? Surplus ammo is cheap (right now).

Buy it. It's not an overpriced 22. The current Swat & Former Swat guys that run the training classes that I attend don't think it's an oversized 22. I

If you read the book "No Easy Day" about the killing of Bin Laden. I don't think he once mentioned the fact that he had any issue killing anyone with his overpriced 22.

In one chapter he talked about a millitant jumping out a window to escaped. He put a couple in his back & his ***. I wonder if that millitant while he was bleeding out thought about the fact that he got shot with an overpriced/oversized 22.
