Ordered a upper from ar15sales.com feedback? Received!!

Hey guys, anyone else order from ar15sales.com before?

I emailed them about my order on monday, 5/11 and they said
"It is about a 14 day delivary time from you order date"

possibly its not in stock and they are ordering it from the mfg?

it was a lefty complete upper..

Got my item today, 5/29th took a week more but worth it!!

pete is a good guy, i've never ordered a complete upper, just little stuff from him. but his feedback on arfcom is great and he has some of the best prices around... did you ask him if it was in stock at the time? it could just be that he's swamped with the ar-buying spree everyone's on before the next election...

I had placed a order Saturday 5/10 got a email confirming my order.

I emailed them Monday night 5/12 asking if they item was in stock and if I would get a tracking number. Im pretty sure its something they would have to order because its a lefty model.

2 weeks isnt bad as long as I get the thing I already paid for.

Pete's an excellent vendor. He used to be hard to get a hold of by phone but the last couple of times I ordered stuff he's been much quicker about returning phone calls.

I had to wait 3 weeks for a 2HT upper. I got a bit antsy and emailed/voicemailed Jodi and Pete. I got prompt replies and they assured me that I would get my order and to be patient, lots of demand right now. I got my upper directly from Stag.

I ordered one of the "highest quality-cannot name vendor" complete M4 buttstocks for $69.00, I mentioned in the order I would prefer Stag or no name listed. I got a Stag.

I'm super satisfied with the product. My upper did not come with rail covers, I emailed Stag and they said the rail covers only come with complete rifles. They offered to send a patch and sticker, which came in the mail a few days later.

sounds awesome stanze, I also ordered the stock from them, for 69$ shipped cant really beat that! Jodie was the one who was emailing me.

I guess I could have ordered the LPK from them too but was unsure about the "cant name brand" thing. So I ordered one from lanworld it came to 152.13 shipped using UPS on the 12.13$ shipping..

for 5$ they could be using USPS and take less time.

Was originally quoted 5 weeks, ended up taking 12 and wasn't correct configuration when delivered. He did make it right in the end, but if I knew it was going to take 3 months I would have gone elsewhere.

i was thinking on ordering RRA but he said he's backed up on them foe atleast 3 months so i got STAG instead

I am in the gun business and I would urge anyone caution in ordering things that are not in stock. I could be the best vendor in the world, but if Stag gets swamped and doesn't deliver the goods, then my hands are tied and you are still screwed.

So if you are ordering anything that is out of stock, don't be mad at the vendor if it doesn't show up in time and be ready to possibly wait quite some time.

Knowing what I know, I would order products from someone that has them in stock ready to ship every time rather than take a chance on a back order, even if it cost a little more.

Good luck and I hope it works out. I don't have many left handed uppers in right now so I am not trying to steal a sale. I think I only have 1 1HL and 1 2HL in stock. You probably want a 2HTL.

I appreciate you trying to help, but 539 to 606 with tax and shipped is out of my budget. If I had more funds I would. Also the boss is already mad at me for getting another toy..

oh ya, how many leftys are out there?.. cant be that many..

Just wanted to update, I just got my 2HL from Stag directly. I thought ar15sales.com was going to ship from their own shop but I guess it would be better for them to drop ship.

I am very satisfied with my order.
