WELL I FINALLY DID IT

i went into BIG 5 in livermore today man'ed up and made my first firearm purchase marlin 795 .22lr for $150, a box of .22lr hollow point (qty 525) ammo for $17.99, extra 10 shot mag for $15.99, and $25 dros fee, $225.07 otd. Im pretty excited for hours of fun for $225 bucks, pick up is Monday, May 26, i tried not to tell the wife but she sniffed my bluff pretty damn fast so i ended up having to take her shopping and out to dinner, i cant keep a secret from her she knows me way to well but anyways me and a buddy who joined this site last night went to targetmasters in milpitas yesterday and shot a sig 229 i must say it is a pretty good feeling handgun, a sig is going to be my next purchase for sure and hopefully within the next 2 months....good thing i didn't get that hi point 9mm from gunbrokers.

lol thats what im thinking......i want a sig real bad now and have been contemplating about what crap i dont use that can be sold on clist to help fund the cause, i need a semi pistol maybe a few, another riffle for hunting, I want that Mossberg combo shotgun and will also need to get a revolver in time........so many guns such little time..

Going on 12 years Now.....

In the last 12 years I have spent $15,000 on guns. If you count the ammunition and reloading stuff, I would be up around $20,000. At the separation hearing yesterday the guns came up. The wife said she didn't want anything to do with them There is a God

May I suggest a SIG P6 as your first SIG purchase? They are a bargain right now at around $270 (about $320-380 OTD). They are incredibly combat accurate, of high quality, and 8 rounds is nothing to sneeze at, especially since you can't buy high capacity magazines anyway (unless you somehow managed to secret some away a decade ago).

As you go further into this sport, consider the mantra that we who are gun-mad bear: "Never pay retail".

well ive shot a ruger p89, springfield xd, and the sig from the other night.....the price is right and it feels the best for my price range atm.
