I had a sneaky feeling it wouldn't be shown here in Santa Cruz...LOL. I sure hope enough people turn out to make this a nationwide showing. I would try to talk the hubby into driving to SF, but we are heading on vacation then.

Crowdsourcing to get a movies released in a theater near you. You become the promoter, if you hit your attendance goal, the theater gets the movie and they play it for your event.

          Any LA area showings planned?

If not, we get at least 20 regular shooters at our monthly events, I'm sure it wouldn't be that hard to create a Tugg event and presell 84 tickets.

We're working with Paul and Brandon and their teams to identify cities that we can get key screenings by TUGG. These screenings will be in addition to the one we've secured with AMC above. That list will be released here on the forum in the next day or two.

So, here is the grand plan.

If you live near either So. CA or the Bay Area theaters, please attend one of the scheduled screenings - take all your anti friends with you, too. You should be able to purchase tickets through Fandango later this week.

Otherwise, when the TUGG events get posted buy your tickets on TUGG.

Either way, PLEASE purchase your tickets as soon as they flip the switch on TUGG or Fandango. We need to sell out to get more theaters and events created. All of you will determine the faith of ASSAULTED through ticket sales. If we have a great opening weekend, the other theaters across the country will pick up the film and that is what we need to make this a blockbuster.

            Thanks,

            Kris

He is from Chico, but living in Burbank for this event. Once the list comes out in a day or two, if you don't see a Chico event, you might want to help organize one. More details to follow.

Who will watch this movie? Like minded right wing types?

While we talk, complain and watch movies the radical left is trampling on our rights. When the left gets caught, nothing happens as the right doesn't have the balls to punish them. Lets play nice with the radical left while they undo America.

Isn't what the IRS/Government is doing today what started the first American revolution?

Think of this as a response to the "all media is anti...how come we can never have any pro-2A...."

Now we have a pro-2A documentary. If we can get it released to as broad an audience as possible (by buying tickets as soon as they're available, and encouraging others to do the same), it will have it's best chance possible to do more than preach to the choir.

It it going to cure cancer, do our laundry, and solve all the ills and injustices in the world? No, but it's still a worthy cause.

Is it possible to get something more central for the Bay Area? There are lots of CalGuns members here.

I helped fund this effort and would love to go see the showing, but AMC Deer Valley 16 appears to be in Antioch. I'm pretty sure we could fill an AMC for one of two showings closer to San Jose or the Peninsula.
