    Gifting handgun to daughter

Last year I bought and DROS'd a handgun with the intention of giving it to my daughter for her birthday. It was our intention for her to get her HSC and then I would complete the appropriate paperwork for the interfamily transfer. However, she got married a few months later and has become a resident of Utah.

So the question is, how do I "gift" it to her now? Do we have to conduct the transfer at an FFL in Utah?

Yes - transfer from CA resident to UT resident needs the UT FFL.

    And, congratulations!
