I know this is a stupid question. Then again in theory there's no such thing.
Someone asked me this and I don't know the answer (no one does) so I figured I'd ask you all:

Is it legal to have a higher cap mag for an SLR if it is modified to hold 10 rounds but still looks like it holds more? Or a mag that doesn't hold any rounds at all but it looks like it holds more than 10?

Or is it an idiotic, unnecessary, unsightly risk that they shouldn't so much as talk about let alone attempt?

If it hold 10 rounds or less.... it is NOT a high/large capacity magazine. However it looks doesn't matter.

PS. Modification needed to be PERMENANT, irreversible.
