    Score in Nebraska!!!

So today while on the third day of our roadtrip to michigan with a buddy of mine we decided to stop at a cabelas just outside of Omaha.

HOLY ****!!!! 45acp 40sw 223 308 even 22lr!!! all in stock. Limits were outrageous on rimfire so i picked up a 333 win 22lr bulk pack and proceeded to check out.

Now my only problem is figuring out the best way to ship back to CA as im flying back after visiting family fiends in WI and getting my buddy set up for his internship. Any suggestions on shipping?

Why ship it? Put it in your checked baggage. You can fly with ammo. Just not in the passenger cabin.

I thought it had to have every round seperated so there was no change of accidental discharge

Lol...I can picture the OP at the ammo counter foaming at the mouth and grabbing all he can carry...And the workers just standing around saying "Hes from California"...Then all the shocked shoppers say in unison "Oooohhhhh"...

No. Go to a UPS yard, one of those places where the brown trucks go in and out of. At that yard you pay a little more for an ORM sticker. Will only be sent via ground.

Or good luck at the UPS store, a franchise sold to by UPS but not under their management. Call them first, please. Maybe, just maybe, Nebraska is different.

It will still be a great deal after you have to drive to the UPS hub and ship it home right...?

Just put in your checked bag. Check your airlines policy as their are some slight variation between carriers.

Because we have such an insatiable appetite? They need to step their shooting up if there is ammo just laying around to be bought.

Learn how to properly prepare, pack and declare firearms and ammunition in checked baggage when flying. Review TSA rules, airline policies, and legal requirements.

                          Check your airline too.

Don't forget there are more Cabelas on your way to Wisconsin, in Owatonna, MN and Prairie Du Chien, WI.

UPS is cheaper to ship than FedEx, just need to take it to a UPS Customer Center, not a UPS Store. Write "ORD-M" on 2 sides of the box.

                              I believe it.

My Kali-resident buddy is in South Dakota right now and he called me yesterday to notify me that ammo is available at the Cabela's there. It is plenty alright but it is not cheap by any means. Cheaper that Private Sales but still way above pre-Sandy pricing.

He didn't buy any nor did I. We are stocked up.

He also mentioned the handgun cases are FULL unlike here They even had FN SCARs for $2999.
