223/556 ammo was around $700 for 1000 rounds
7.62 x 39 ammo was around $275 for 1000 rounds

Shorter than I thought. I think the entire line was inside by 10:00am. The ammo lines are what looked the worst.Comment

Went today (Sun.) around 12:00 - walked right in, not crowded at all. No waiting at the ammo booths, lots of ammo available but not a lot of .22lr selection. Prices were still high esp. .223/556 and .22lr I got the impression that most of the vendors were doing ok business (esp. the gun sellers), but not the ammo sellers. It looked to me like the buyers were being very judicious with their ammo dollars much to the chagrin of the dealers.
Oh, and it seemed that all of the magazine vendors were either cousins or in cahoots with each other. 40.00 for a ten round mini-14 factory magazine and 60.00 for a twenty round rebuild kit.
