My wife wants to fully transfer over her handgun to me. I downloaded the required form, but am confused as to who's information goes where.
A. Owner Information: This is my wife, correct? Since the handgun is under her name. Or is this my information since my wife presumably already transferred the handgun ownership to me.
B. Handgun Information: Is this where my information is entered?
- How Possession was Obtained: transfer of ownership from spouse? Is this asking how the gun was first obtained or how I'm obtaining the handgun?
I'm assuming that this entire form is based on my information, presuming that my wife has already given ownership of the gun to me; therefore, I should fill out the "owner" information?
