Hey guys, need advise for Auto-Ordnance 1911, saw in local pawnshop in great condition for $500 out the door. Is it worth to buy? I think it is a earlier model., Thanks for respond.

its an alright base 1911. be ready to tweak it though when it just doesn't fit together the way you would expect ^_^

I have an older AO 1911 in 38 Super, and a new one in .45. The older one could use some tweaks. I can sometimes get through a magazine with a failure to feed or eject. I heard the quality of these were hit and miss.
The new one is great.
