I went to a shooting range in Phoenix/Scottsdale. It was cool. Select fire weapons in an underground range. Corrugated steel pipes 50m I think it was.

It was so awesome, I wanted to nut punch myself to make sure it was real.

I would imagine it would be tough to do in california with quakes and all.

        Just an random thoughts.
        Good luck.
I saw that 'movie' too. I've seen it a couple times in Palos Verdes.

        The old bait and switch.

A single lane pistol range is a pretty easy setup. Remember that line from the Lord of the Rings?

7 years, that's kind of a long time.

A few years ago I was on a flight sitting next to an A's pitcher that had just been traded. He showed me pictures of the new house he was building in the Mid-West. He was showing me his very large basement that included a full size pitching lane. I asked him if he could also use it a pistol range. He said he hadn't thought of that but didn't see why not and would ask his contractor to makes some mods to do that.
I'd agree with you but then we'd both be wrong...

Cheaper to just buy a boat -

Go out about 20 miles -

Toss some biodegradable targets overboard -

                    And have at it.

Plus you get to catch dinner....

Seems like a situation where, "don't ask don't tell", and "what nobody knows, won't hurt" comes to mind.
