    help me ID a mag

    My dad have me this mag thinking it was for my .40 but it's a 9mm. I'm thinking beretta but iswanted an expert opinion before I tried to sell it.

        Definitely not 1911. Kinda looks like an Springfield xd mag except for the floor plate looks way too thin. Does it say anything on the mag?

                  Not for a ruger P series, the floor plate angle is to acute. Maybe a CZ mag....????

                            Me thinks High Power.

                            I am holding one in my hand. It looks the same. And the mag catch looks to be in the same place.

                            Mag length will tell me if I am right.

                            If I measure my HP mag back strap for length. (From top of mag back strap to bottom of the base plate. Not including feed lip height.)

                            I have 4 and 5/16ths. For a standard length mag. Or a 109.49 MM for you metric peeples.

                              ruger 9mm magazines have the catch hole on the front

                              high power mags seem to not have exposed lip at the rear
