my suggestion is to go with the CMP rifle since 22LR ammo is the most rare ammo out there and CMP sells their own ammo dirt cheap....

You can't beat a good 10/22

Yeah, get a 10/22 then you will also have your "assault weapon" of choice. It's like two guns in one.

its a good start,you need to put some sick custom grips on that 1911. i would usually say get a 10/22, but if you dont already have .22 ammo you will be paying way to much money for new ammo. so get a shotgun, shells are still cheap and easy to find.

Did you find a Tekmat for the 552/556? And how is the non-telescoping butt stock compared to the other one? It looks like it gets a better cheek weld.

P220 Combat. Stock P226 with Hogue G10 grips to the upper right of it.
Scorpions in 226, 229, 1911. 1911TTT. Two-tone P228. Mosquito, 522, 556.
