    Armslist question

I found a gun on armslist I want to buy. Actually it's a muzzleloader so it's not even a gun as far as ATF is concerned.

Anyway it's from a private party in another state. What is the safest/best way to pay for this? I'm not worried about shipping legalities since there really aren't any, I just dont want to get ripped off. Thanks .

My Advice is DON'T DO IT! I have dealt with many people on Armslist unless you talk to them on the phone and meet in person I wouldn't do it, 95% are scams. Theres a guy in Chatsworth saying he is from either Frisco or Texas or back east and he has a lot of listings on there trying to scam people out of their Cash, unless your willing to take a chance with your money, I would suggest against it.
