1942 m1 garand mod/ dumb guy

So here I am, showing off my 1942 all original M1 garand, never re-barreled, looks awesome, beat up looks its been in the ****. Just the way I like it. My buddy just built an ar15 and ak 47 and wanted to trade. I respectfully decline and his retarded brother (also just built an ar) rudely interupts and sais "wtf I wouldnt even trade my ar 15 for that!! If I bought one id put a polymer stock on it and install a rail system." I thought about slapping my bayonet and shoving it into his carotid artery, I kindly stepped outside. Thought id just share my story of today that really pissed me off

He doesn't know much about firearms in the first place. This build is his first gun when all the histaria hit. Now, all of a sudden, hes a "gun expert" I politely told him that you dont do something like that to an original M1. Maybe one of these reproductions that are flooding the market, or just buy a socom or socom II but not something apart of WWII history. He was still being ignorant. You know those kind of guys that whatever you say, they always have or did something better than you? Yeah, thats him. No hope.

Yea, except those Sage stocks aren't cheap. I was considering throwing that stock on my Century Garand because it doesn't have any original markings and is just a fun shooter, until I saw the price and decided to buy an M14 parts kit instead.
