Sling options (Single/Double point) for AR-15 with A2 stock

This might seem like a dumb question but what options are there for a sling on an A2 stock WITHOUT using the A2 stock standard sling attachment?

For instance, with a collapsible stock, there is an attachment that screws onto the end of the buffer tube (wher it meets the lower) that allows for a sling to be attached at that point. Could we still use that optional sling attachment with an A2 stock?

Im looking for a sling to go with my A2 stock and was curious what options I have.

    Thank you

There are webbing loops that go around the stock and are really secure. I ran one for a while. Just google a2 stock sling belt/loop. It allows for one or 2 point. You can also find a sling adaptor plate to replace the buffer plate.

I'm a fan of the Israeli IDF sling - nice two point that can steady your aim and with the snap of a buckle allows the rifle to hang at your side and out of the way. I have one on my retro a1 build and another on my remington 870.
The ZAHAL - 2 Point Tactical IDF Rifle Sling is used by various IDF infantry/Special Forces units. Heavy duty nylon and reinforced-plastic buckles

I couldn't agree with you more dude. The wide thin sling make's carrying the rifle more comfortable.

I couldnt remember if there was a buffer plate with an A2 stock. I thought the A2 stock just fit onto the lower? Or is there a plate in between?

              Troy A2 stock QD mount.

Attaches to the stock base plate.

Run one on my A2 450bm with a MS3 sling.

It looks like it would make the stock a tiny bit longer? I assume thats why the spacer and screw is included?

                  Just a hair longer.

Your correct about the spacer and screw.

Cool. I like that mount. Im not worried about the length...

                    I found these too

I know thats an "airsoft" site but I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this type of sling mount?
