Is this particular model legal in california if the bullet button is installed? out of state purchase is being considered.

if they install the BB put of state before shipping into CA yes it is... i did the same thing with the same rifle execpt mine has the leo/military only marks ... glad to help

Got one out of state also. had broken down shipped separately to Ca FFL for BB good to go. Enjoy that puppy.

Sorry but I'm still a little confused. Are the LE6940CA models denoted as such somewhere in the serial number or roll mark? If not, then why can't every 6940 be converted with BB? And how is a LEO going to know the difference.
