    Buying from Private Party

OK so maybe this sounds like a stupid question from a guy who doesn't trust alot of folks..when buying private party value pak 22lr ammo do you count the rounds on the box?

if it looks fullish, I don't care too much with 22lr. Its generally cheap to begin with.

If you don't trust yourself to be able to eyeball it, use a scale or count.

I'm not gonna count 300+ rounds of .22 before a transaction. As was said, if it looks full, I'll take it as is- my time and potential frustration are worth more than a few rounds of .22.

I've never bought a value pak box of 22lr before..fullish means the rounds will fill the box?

The only ones I have sold have been sealed (Federal blue box 525), so they contained whatever Federal put into them.

most people on here are truthful about loose ammo, I always am, I'm usually too lazy and will take their word for it

I would eyeball it. I personally don't find it worth my time to haggle after finding out it's missing 30 rds or so. It will only knock the price down by a few bucks. Depends on the buyer I guess.

Just buy it at the store.

If you started counting rounds of ammo I was going to sell you FTF, I'd pack it up and say forget it.

I don't buy and sell on CG to make money or screw people, I do it because it's fun being part of the community.

i wouldn't take the time to count it, and if i was selling i would get anoyed with someone sitting there counting out 333 rounds of ammo. if your really that worried about it, weigh it

I bought 5K rounds of .22 mix batch and had the seller count with me, I want what I paid for and thats- that...lol OP if it looks full you should be good to go!

But if it was 45acp I would ask the seller to count that out into 50rd batches per say!

Big fat waist of time. If it was me, would NOT sell to you. 22 packs SHOULD be sealed or else its NOT new ammo to me. I dont buy ammo from 3rd parties because someone put reloads in a box before............

If you dont trust the seller then buy at the store.
