Pro Ears Predator Gold vs. Brownells Pro series hearing protection???
I read that the Brownells are made by Pro Ears. The Brownells does not come with the 3.5mm mini jack for an Ipod, otherwise they look to be the same.
Brownells are $140 while Pro Ears are $289. anyone know what the difference is??

I have the predator golds and they're very nice. The sound quality is very good - if you're shooting indoors you can barely hear the bang but you can clearly hear the tinkle of the brass hitting the ground.

The obvious difference that leaps to mind is that the Brownells claim to have a 5.5ms attack time and the Pro Ears claim a 1.5ms attack time. The big selling point of the ProEars are the superior electronics so that makes sense.
