9 in a 10 round ? is this new CA thing ?

    9 in a 10 round ? is this new CA thing ?

    What happened, DPMS 308 mags say 10 Rounds, but can only load 9 into them. A little disappointed, do others also have this problem ? Or just mine.

    No its not a california thing.
    It must be your mag.

      Oh poo, got two of these, and can only get it to take 9 rds ea. But on the brite side, it's 18 rds right...

                I don't know about yours but I see the mags that come with Colts being advertised as 9rd capacity in the Turner's ads.

                  my 10 round ak mag only accepts 7 rounds.

                    Mag maker doesn't want to take a chance that 11 will fit. So they block it to 9, so if you can squeeze another one in, it's still legal.

                      There's no way I can SQUEEZE 1 more past 9 in there. Little bite of false advertising here ! Lying in Government & business is becoming a normalizing thing these day's, How the H**L are we supposse to teach our kids, with all this crap being the norm...

                        the DPMS .308 mags I have hold 10, even the 4-rd one after I removed the blocker pieces.

                            S&W M&P pistol magazines are difficult to load to capacity when new, on occasion. They're new. Break them in.
