    Yet another OC question

With more and more people OC'ing, I had a quick question that I couldn't find on the boards.

How do you open carry if you are wearing a jacket? When it's cold I tend to get the biggest jacket and wrap myself in it, so how do you keep it open and not concealed?

Yes, I know it's probably a REALLY stupid question, but I was just curious if there was a way.

You'll look like an idiot, but tuck the jacket in.

There are also jackets made for the LEO types with a zipper to split the jacket to accomdate a holster. I dont believe that a jacket will be much of a problem during the summer, but it is a valid question.

If the jacket only goes down to just below your belt line, you could go with a thigh rig.

Since the front of your jacket is open or can easily be held open, open carry just in front of your crotch. You may have to move your belt buckle a little to accomodate for the holster.
I had a good friend in New York City, he never called me by my name, just Hillbilly.

I got a shotgun and a rifle and a fourty five and a country boy can survive.
(I have taken some poetic liberties with this line, with all due respect to Mr. Hank Williams Jr., because I do not own a four wheel drive.)
