Great day at the range

My 13 and 9 year-olds and I spent a great day at the range together on Saturday. We shot a Remington 514, an AR, and a Steyr M40. Another shooter let the kids shoot his .17HMR and his .50 blackpowder.

The 9 year-old shot mostly the small caliber stuff, although he gave the AR a shot. The 13 year-old's favorite was the blackpowder, lots of smoke and recoil.

Looks so fun. I can't wait till my kids get a little older. I will definitely be doing this in a few years.

Great job dad! Spending time with your children means so much to them. They will always remember times like this. The love of a father should not be underestimated.
