duracoating my ar build

i just finished up duracoating my ar, all in all it wasn't a hard process, so far i'm pretty happy with the results. i used magpul FDE and i'm going to use a flat clear, it was nice to get everything you need in a small package ready to go and i added the aluminum oxide sand to my order from lauer and got everything pretty quickly.

Tag for later. I love the desert tan color, but I'm not sure if I want to go to the hassle and expense of refinishing my rifle.

I really did not like the Magpul FDE made by duracoat it looks gray. I painted an upper and a lower once and the color was way off.

i have nothing to compare it to, its the first colored ar i've done.
