Just a word of advice: When you own firearms, you must maintain a higher standard and not break the law, vehicle and penal.

A buddy's gf called me to say he assaulted her, pd was called out and he was taken to the station and booked, probably EPO and TRO will be filed. Good by gun ownership...we must hold ourselves to a higher standard...

Hanko, I was just ranting. The point was simply don't do something that will bring any amount of scrutiny on to yourself by ill behavior? We own/support/love/collect [insert verb] firearms. Yes it is our 2A right. You batter/assault someone, get a citation etc., the way CA society is right now, through a conviction in the judicial system, you could loose your 2A right.

I beg to differ on that. Most every day all of us break one law or another. But we are either (a) not caught, (b) don't break something that matters to our gun rights (c) break some stupid *** law that law that everyone breaks.

Need? No! Obey sensible laws (as much as we can) sure! Refrain from beating on your woman? Certainly!
