    I created a monster

Finally was able to get the Bushmaster out to the range today. I've had it for a while and have just been adding some stuff here and there to it, but I hadn't fired it until today.

Decided to make a date of it and took my wife along to introduce her to shooting. First, we sent a couple hundred rounds down range without a hiccup. The bushmaster performed flawlessly.

Second, the wife loved shooting. Her comment on the way home was, now we need lots of different guns. lol.

She shot excellently, and we were at the 50 yard range. Once the scope was dialed in, we were able to place close to center consistently.

    This could get expensive fast....

    Congratulations! Very well done OP!

I did create a monster about 8 months ago, too. That monster is ME

Ain't it nice to have a wife who understands and supports you/your hobby?

Congratulations anthem. Wish I could get mine to say something like that. She shoots well and will go once in a while but it's always a battle to get her to go out. Fortunately, I just got her a small handgun that was what she wanted and now she's excited to go to the range and try it out... I just need to get her to like the rest of 'em too.

Nothing cooler than a wife that shoots, except maybe one that shoots well...

Ugh, what a bad time for you. Hope you like gunshows cause that's where your dates are going to me for awhile. Congrats!

lol... We were going to take the 9 year old shooting this morning but he had an asthma attack, so we had to skip it.

So instead she dragged me to Bass Pro today to go look for more ammo.

I pulled a number. I pulled 90 and they were on 75 when we got there. I didn't need to talk to anyone, but I always grab a number just in case. 45 minutes later, they were still on 75. I thought things were cooling down a bit. Guess not. Oh, they didn't have any .223 or 5.56 ammo either.

OP, try clay shooting, too. My wife enjoyed it and wanted to do it again. Definitely going back.

She enjoyed the 20-gauge and hit a lot of clay.

I did that about 10 years ago with my wife. It's no longer my Bushmaster
