I checked out some AK pistols in a store today and thought they looked kinda neat. I have seen reviews in magazines and know to expect not so nice accuracy. Anyone ever try one out? I am currently into the 7.62x39 thing (I don't own anything else) right now and was curious about peoples opinions.

AK pistols?
Tags: None -
I have a nice AK pistol I built 5-7 years ago...its a fun gun to shoot....pretty accurate...I'm actually waiting for a build party to get together so I can build another -
you can hit a 100 yd steel plate torso pretty easy with an ak-pistol. takes about 2-3 seconds to stabilize for the second shot afterwards.
they are fun guns, but not very practical.Comment

Yeah that's what I've been thinking. I might want to get one for fun. Not sure I have the extra cash laying around though...Comment

The one I built a few years ago will consistently hit a 10" plate at 300 yards off a rest. That said, it is nothing more than a novelty gun.NRA Certified Pistol, Rifle, Shotgun and Metallic Cartridge Reloading Instructor
