What kind of suspenders are those? Would like to add a Ifak, but my belt is getting heavy.

HSGI suspenders...like you say, once the belt gets past a certain point, suspenders are necessary.

I guess I'll be the first to ask. Why?
Is it for intruders in the middle of the night? Jury may have a field day with it if you had to shoot someone.
You can't wear it outside your house in public except when hunting, but bet most don't.
The only situation I see it is for SHTF or playing mall ninja.

Why? I made my belt solely for BLM shooting. I just ordered an hsgi bleeder pouch for my belt and until I receive it in the mail, I will hold up on posting any pics.

I orginally had it off center to the left but I added a Taco pouch in front of

my pistol mag carrier and a Fish-n-shoot custom knife on my support side

It hasn't bothered me in any position. I've had a couple empties and tactical reloads in there at once and the weight / bulk seems to be ok

mind you my load out is normally 3-4 pistol mags and 3 AR mags so I am not

that loaded up.

had this belt since 2005....countless training ops, countless combat foot and mounted patrols...the mag pouchs are falling apart duct taped to keep it together and add some padding, dump pouch doesnt have any elasticity/retention left, the IFAK is worn and well used....had to replace the buckle of the belt itself....but other than that, its surviving...

I take it you've never taken any combat, carbine, or pistol classes have ya Highly doubt anybody here would use em for intruders in the night.
