After that, I would definitely leave a negative. Itrader is to let other users know of their experiences with the buyer and whether or not they can be trusted. Our sales forum is based on trust.

Lying to you is definitely cause for a negative in my book.

You definitely have to leave a neg feedback.
Thats what its there for, to warn future sellers/buyers of the experience you had with them.

Definitely leave a negative iTrader feedback. Only way for the Marketplace to work is to honor your word.

It would be totally reasonable to leave negative in that case. Especially after lost time and lost "virginity" of the lower.

Compounded by the flake out and then offer to buy another AR- I think if he retaliates with poor feedback you have enough of a paper trail that a mod will kill his feedback and leave you in good standing.

To the OP, read the iTrader rules. Negative feedback isn't allowed since, as DP mentioned, the deal never happened. You can however leave neutral feedback and leave a reason why. Not perfect and not as satisfying but it's better than nothing.

No -trader but would let his name be known in center fire/OT threads.

Just a beware of__________!!!! What a flake:

                    This should be enough.

For sure neutral feedback mentioning what a FLAKE he is. The mods will not delete it and others who do the research will be warned.

You have a tremendous amount of perfect, 100% feedback and any mod would back you up if Mr. Flake decides to post negative itrader against you.

Gene (Cigarman45) is the first bad transaction I have had on Calguns in nearly 100

We made a verbal deal on Wed (4/10) afternoon, Gene requested that I swap over to an aluminum lower, we agreed on Sunday morning at Jackson Arms. The gun was marked "SPF" Sold pending funds and other potential buyers were put off for a 5 day period.

I had to take what used to be a new, otherwise never built lower, and rebuild the gun on to it. Took about a half hour of time and a couple of small detents and springs which didn't cost much, about $5 total. Now the extra aluminum lower I had is no longer "new"

Gene and I were in contact via PM on Thursday or Friday as I informed him I used a new Spikes lower

I tried to confirm our Sunday time that weekend, he went radio silent...I pull the SPF and its back on the market on Monday

On the morning of 4/18, he PMs me to inform me he has a family emergency and had to leave town, fine...I ask when he wants the ar15

He didn't honor his agreement to buy, instead of replying to my asking if he was still buying the AR15, he agreed to buy someone else's ar15, agreeing to buy the other ar15 from M2BPO later that evening.

Gene the first bad transaction (of lack of transaction) I have had in nearly 100 on Calguns...sellers beware

I wouldn't normally care if buyers bail, but we agreed on a deal and he had me switch out a polymer lower for an aluminum lower, which involved time and some small around of money/parts

as I said in my first reply to this OP... I would be fuming mad if I built on a virgin lower for a deal and the buyer flaked out. I see he bought a Colt 6920CA.

Ask the Mods if you can leave negitive feedback due to your lost $$ on the virgin lower. It cannot be listed as NIB now...its a used lower.

since the mods will intervene if it becomes a pissing war, put neutral. at least help the next potential buyer or seller out by letting them know of this person's character.

outing them out in a forum? seriously? any potential buyers/sellers can search thru posts and potentially go thru 50 pages and still not find anything. whereas an itrader post is easy.
