Looking for some poll numbers...

For the purposes of a discussion I'm having, I'd like to know how many of you carry at home. For the purposes of this question lets define carry as something you do on a daily basis for the entire time you're home. If its a once in a while thing, then that doesn't count. If you wake up, shower and then strap it on, thats carrying.

The poll won't be public. I'm not looking for any explanation so there isn't any need to divulge who you are, for those wary of discussing stuff like this. Just the number are important. Also, if you're an LEO please pick accordingly.

Negative. For the purposes of this poll you carry if you treat your gun like your wallet. Its on your person when you're at home. If its sitting on a desk or anywhere else but a holster that on you, its not carrying.

I really don't see the point of carrying at home. That just comes off as a little too much. I think my Family and friends would think I was nuts if I was packing, just to watch t.v. or brush my teeth.

I love shooting and enjoy my firearms, but I'm not one of those that think every second of everyday requires yourself to be armed and ready to go.

This guy jumped through his neighbor's front window and still had enough fight to stab a police dog. Retreat to the gun safe is our family plan right now. A locked door is not enough. The "carry always" is being worked on.

I don't "carry" in home. But it is within reach no matter where I am in the house. By in reach I mean one in every room, but not so if you did not know it was there.
