    Double DROS Day

Well My 30 day wait ended Saturday, so today(gave it an extra day, just to be sure) I finally decided to go to Turners and DROS my USP .45 I bought a few weeks ago.

I filled out all my paperwork and am talking to the salesman, when after a while the conversation turns to shotguns. I have been wanting a semi auto in the style of a FNSLP or Benelli M4 for some time now.

Anyways as we are talking, the salesman brings up that they had a M1 Super 90 in for consignment and that it had been sold, so I bring up how much I want an M4. He looks at me and says, "We have one here." Like a giddy girl I say "Can I see it." So he brings it out, still all wrapped up in plastic in all it's black gun glory.

If you read some of my other post, you may know, that I have a problem with impulse purchases, and that is why I am a fan of the 30 day rule(lol). Well needless to say the price was fair(for an M4, at least), and my will weak.

So on the 8th, I will be bringing home both these bad boys!!!

I think it can be confirmed that an alien xenomorph is absolutely no match for good ole' Alabama black snake!

    and

If you're in a survival movie and the hot blond twists her ankle and can't walk, you damn well figure a way to carry her. If it's a dude, you shake his hand and say "best of luck".

      LOL
      Nice, Congrats!
I've been thinking about an M4 as well.
Post pictures and range report when you pick them up and get a chance to shoot them.

        I have the same problem.
Walked into Ade's to pick up some stripped lowers after 10 days, and they had a nice bulgarian -74 sitting there for PPT.
        Complete impulse buy..
I rationalized it to myself though by saying that 5.45 ammo is cheaper, so it was purely a decision based on economics, as the rifle will pay for itself with cheaper ammo.
