    Vector Arms vs Coharie Arms

I know there was talk awhile back about Vector Arms making more V94s due to having a new source of HK reciever flats other than TB, so I thought I throw this out to fuel the fire.

I was googlesurfing about MP5 clones and came across this tidbit of information.

Federal Distric Court Filings & Dockets
    Vector Arms v. Coharie Arms

    Plaintiff: Vector Arms
    Defendant: Coharie Arms

    Case Number: 1:2008cv00039
    Filed: April 16, 2008

    Court: Utah District Court
    Office: Northern Office
    County: Weber
    Presiding Judge: Judge Dee Benson

Nature of Suit: Contract - Other Contract
    Cause: 28:1332 Diversity-Breach of Contract
    Jurisdiction: Diversity
    Jury Demanded By: Plaintiff

Anyone have any information about this?

Just remembered TB has his own forum and found this post, from 03-02-2008, of him talking about troubles with Vector Arms.

We have cut off all sales they still have some parts here they refuse to pay for we are having to sue them to get our money. We will NO longer sell them anything at all, they have been trying to back door buy from us for a year we have closed every one of those doors.

In just a few months their will be Very very well made Hk 93 clones on our new receivers for a very reasonalbe price $250-350 less then vectors, there is also a rumor that Hk53 clones may also come out of this also. Vector appears to be running out of money for their projects and these new low cost clones may put them out of business.

I am not holding my breath on getting paid from them anymore...
TB mentions about sueing Vector Arms for unpaid bills, yet Vector Arms is the plantiff and TB is the defendant in the above mentioned case. Hmmmm....

Well I guess we won't be seeing Vectors HK94 clone anytime soon.

There was also some issue TB had about Vector removing the Coharie logo from the receivers and replacing it with their own.

Even Coharie has stopped making the current CA-94. Some folks thought the CA-94 was already cheaply made, and Coharie will be replacing it with a new model that has even less frills

Ouch, that's going to be interesting to see how it turns out.
