big45 frontier metal cleaner

I love this stuff to get lead out of gun barrels, but I found it pretty effective in taking many types of fouling out too. Is this stuff safe to use with regular cleaning for modern guns (not necessarily blued)? What if I twist it when inside the barrel? Anyone have lots of experience with this product? Thanks
