Years from now if ( hopefully not ) when your child cannot own guns and can't enjoy free speech and doesn't enjoy being able to walk around without be illegally searched and having property seized, he will ask you why are things this way? In my history class my teacher taught me we used to be able to own firearms and speak freely without being arrested. You will say "because ppl like me gave up on our right, sorry son"

I don't think it could have been said any better than that...there is a lot at stake, and, I don't think its just about guns...our freedoms are being chipped away, law by law...we owe it to ourselves and our future generations to not let it happen on our watch

Take it easy, sometimes you don't know exactly what state of mind some people are in. Some might just take you too seriously. Although one would expect a statement like this to just roll off others might just do exactly what you say. Yes, those people shouldn't own firearms. But, until our new ammo tax & mental eval. is put in place we are in a grey area. For me, I will keep my NRA membership & keep up the good fight.
