    CCW to protect ?

OK tried a search, didn't come up, so here go's. Going for CCW soon, but this question comes to mind. I know you can protect family in home w/or without CCW.
But concerns comes up when on the street. Can you protect your family on the street, or is it just yourself ? Also, George Stepanopoulos said today that people are now recommended to get involved to defuse a situation, like a school shooting or other like situation, dose this statement mean to use deadly force if necessary. Things seems to changing all the time...

The fact you need to ask this means you will denied a LTC by most CLEO in this state.

For a normal State, you have the right to carry a gun to defend yourself and anyone around you. Liberals are sheep who think only Police should be allowed to protect sheep. They tell you not to get evolved because they think you will be hindering Police efforts when in fact history says otherwise. Your actions will help them. If they need to take over the situation, you will be dealt with...sure there is risk of them killing you, but you are trying to help and therefore while sad, you where doing what your conscience told you to do.

If I pulled my gun to stop a crime and then got shot by a responding Officer, well at least I stopped the crime. I was willing to sacrifice my life to save another...oh well.

Start on page 27 ( you should read all of this but at least that page)

Use of a Firearm or Other Deadly Force in Defense of Life and Body The killing of one person by another may be justifiable when necessary to resist the attempt to commit a forcible and life-threatening crime, provided that a reasonable person in the same or similar situation would believe that (a) the person killed intended to commit a forcible and lifethreatening crime; (b) there was imminent danger of such crime being accomplished; and (c) the person acted under the belief that such force was necessary to save himself or herself or another from death or a forcible and life-threatening crime. Murder, mayhem, rape, and robbery are examples of forcible and life-threatening crimes.

Legally, you have the right to defend a third party. Realistically, are you not going to defend your family? Learn the California law and don't listen to what George Stepha... is talking about.
